The sun was beginning to rise, illuminating the fog on the North Saskatchewan River as it flowed through Rocky Mountain House. I love the strong angles in this photo, and the green colour of the river. The light snowfall lends a delicate touch to the banks of the river and the underbrush beyond. I call this one: La Brume - DJ
I took this picture at Candy Cane Lane! Santa is having a party with his friends, Frosty the Snowman and family, Mr. Penguin. They are eating a Christmas candy cane supper by candle light! - JM
“Big Tree with Big Blue Sky”
It was taken at Caboto Park in Little Italy on December 4, 2020.
The sky was a vibrant blue and the temperature was warm.
This tree has a double trunk that splits low on the tree.
The base of the tree is over 6 feet diameter. It is one of the biggest tree in the park. I do not know what species, but I can safely say it is not birch. - JN
Outdoor walks and car drives are simple ways I enjoy the Winter time and see nature in it’s glory bestowing a peace on the season! - MJ
My favorite green spot in summer, turned the white of winter. - ML
